I envy you.
You can draw characters in such dynamic poses, and you always somehow manage to pull off making the anatomy compliment the style of the picture perfectly.
The emotion (or lack of, in some cases) you're able to execute into drawings is something most artists, such as me, can only dream of doing.
Some people take months to think of an original character design, a story to them, even just a name.
Wether they take you an hour, or a year to think of, your characters are so complex, -even if you dont mean for them to be- that they almost seem like real people, something not even some of the most famous artists cant put into their OCs.
Let me just tell you a story, two years ago I fell into an art-block.
I had them before of course, but none as bad as that one,
I'd wait for days for ideas to come to me, and they never did. I finally got so frustrated that I gave up on art completely-in my mind, why bother drawing? Why take time to draw something I wont like? I hated drawing, I hated art, I was so upset over not just the art block, but realising only a few are good enough the make a living off their art, that being an artist, in a sense, is like a relationship, they're ups and downs, crying, pain, hapiness, proudness, everything. I threw away my sketch book, deactivated my dA, and wanted nothing more to do with art.
Then I found your account oneday.
It was a complete accident that I ever clicked your icon on another artists page.
And after just giving your gallery a quick glance I felt inspired again. Your characters, your style, everything inspired me.
Even if you didnt mean too- your art made me realise it wasnt about how hard being an artist was, it was about drawing what you liked, having fun with it, and that talent has nothing to do with it-
Because being an amazing artist is not about having amazing art.
Its about the emotion, the fun of drawing and the freedom of drawing, its about all the things you always flawlessly pull off.
I'm not ass kissing or anything. Im not sucking up or trying to get something. I've just always wanted to tell you what you did for me.
And for that I'll always respect, and look up to you. Ilu Wisey
